Where is left and where is right?

If you wish to order a swing door with a left-hand wall fixture, or an asymmetric shower enclosure with an outer tray dimension of 800 x 1200, it is important to keep the bigger picture in mind. This is why HÜPPE normally measures a shower from a viewpoint outside the enclosure. This gives a left-to-right design, as shown in the diagram..

What is a “setback”?

The “setback” is the distance a shower enclosure is placed inwards from the edge of a tray. This is primarily to improve the sealing of your enclosure, rather than for aesthetic reasons. In this diagram the setback is shown by the measurement R .

What does floor-flush installation mean?

If your shower enclosure is suitable for floor-flush installation, this means that the shower enclosure can also be fitted without a shower tray directly onto a tiled shower area.

What is clippable easy-cleaning feature on sliding doors?

With many HÜPPE sliding doors, the individual panels can be unhooked from the lower guide rails and folded inwards to make cleaning much easier. In addition, most sliding door systems do not have a horizontal profile, thus avoiding edges which can trap dirt.

What does splash-proof mean?

All HÜPPE door systems naturally provide optimum sealing. You should, however, give some thought to your requirements as regards water tightness when selecting your shower enclosure.

As a general rule, remember that fully-framed shower enclosures provide better sealing than design-oriented, partly framed or frameless enclosures.

Optimum functionality between shower enclosure and shower tray can only be achieved by using HÜPPE products.

What is Anti-Plaque glass?

A glass with a special surface finish. It simplifies cleaning and allows water to pearl off. The result – fewer dirt and lime scale deposits. Anything that does remain can simply be wiped off without the need for abrasive cleaning agents.

What is the installation dimension?

The installation dimension is the width ordered. For example, Classics rectangular sliding door corner entry 2-part: adjustment range = installation dimension +/- 10 mm

How can I get hold of spare parts?

All wear and tear parts are covered for two years as standard. Additionally, you can purchase an identical replacement for every wearing part in your HÜPPE shower enclosure – for up to 10 years.
